This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines our policies regarding refunds and subscription cancellations for Genkee AI services. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchases.

2. Refund Policy

We accept refund requests only under the terms below.

Eligibility

Refunds are available only for subscription plan fees and only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Request window: You must submit your request within seven (7) calendar days of the payment being completed.
  • Usage threshold: Credits granted in the current subscription period must have been used no more than 10% of your plan's monthly subscription credit allowance.
  • Credit packs / credit-only purchases (i.e., purchasing credits separately) are strictly non-refundable.

Fees & Refund Amount Calculation

Refunds (including any applicable processing/transaction fees) are reviewed and calculated on a case-by-case basis.

If approved, the refund amount is generally based on the subscription fee value equivalent to your unused subscription credits, minus any non-refundable third-party processing fees charged by payment providers. These fees may vary depending on your payment method and the actual charges incurred.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email billing@genkeeai.com within seven (7) calendar days after your payment is completed. Your email must include:

  • Your Genkee AI account username
  • A brief refund request and any relevant order/subscription details

Requests submitted after the 7-day window will not be accepted.

3. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. When you cancel:

  • Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to premium features until your subscription expires
  • No partial refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period
  • Your subscription will not automatically renew

To cancel your subscription, navigate to the Subscription page in your account and click "Cancel Subscription".

4. After Cancellation

Once your subscription is cancelled and expires:

  • Premium features will become unavailable
  • Your account will be downgraded to the free tier
  • Remaining credits can still be used until they expire
  • Your account and previously generated content remain accessible
  • You can resubscribe at any time to regain premium access

5. Exceptions

In rare circumstances, refunds may be considered at our sole discretion for:

  • Unauthorized transactions: If you believe an unauthorized transaction has occurred on your account, please contact us immediately with valid proof.
  • Technical issues: If persistent technical issues on our end prevent you from using the service for an extended period, we may offer account credits or, in exceptional cases, a refund.
  • Legal requirements: Where refunds are required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

To request an exception review, please contact our billing team with detailed information about your situation.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account
  • Dispute the chargeback with your payment provider
  • Pursue collection of any amounts owed
